Breakfast Corn Bread
|Sifted all-purpose flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Baking powder||4 Tablespoon|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Yellow cornmeal||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Eggs||4 , well beaten|
|Undiluted evaporated milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs), melted|
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
1) Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt and then mix in the cornmeal.
2) Add the eggs, evaporated milk, water and margarine.
3) Mix well till the dry ingredients are dampened.
4) Empty the mix into 2 greased pans (13x9x2 inches) and bake for about 20 minutes.
5) Cut each into 12 pieces.
