Oat 'n Corn Bread
|Oat bran hot cereal||1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked (Quaker)|
|Enriched corn meal||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Quaker / Aunt Jemima)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Baking powder||4 Teaspoon|
|Skim milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Egg white||1 , slightly beaten|
Heat oven to 425°F.
Lightly spray 8 or 9-inch square baking pan with vegetable oil cooking spray or oil lightly.
Combine oat bran, corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; add milk, oil and egg white, mixing well.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
