|Cornmeal||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Melted shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Mix cornmeal, powder and salt.
Combine milk and eggs and add cornmeal mixture.
Add shortening, mix well. (Batter will be thin.)
Pour in greased and floured pan.
Bake at 425 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes.
