Bacon Corn Bread

Ingredients
  Yellow cornmeal 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Bacon strip 3 , crisp-cooked and crumbled
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Bacon drippings 4 Tablespoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 4°F.
Grease a 9-inch square baking pan or cornbread pan.
In a mixing bowl, stir together cornmeal, flour, sugar, bacon, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs, milk, and 4 tablespoons bacon drippings until blended.
Add to dry ingredients.
Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 3 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
