Corn Bread

Ingredients
  White flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Yellow cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Or To Taste)
  Powdered milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooking oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter vanilla flavoring 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Sift dry ingredients in triple sifter.
Add egg, milk, cooking oil and butter-vanilla flavoring to dry mixture.
Bake in greased 8" x 8" pan at 400° for 30 min
Use toothpick test.
May be used for cornbread pancakes, waffles or shortcake.
