Topper Corn Bread
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Corn muffin mix/Corn bread mix||8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Shredded sharp process american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Celery seed||1 Teaspoon|
Cook onion in butter just till tender but not brown.
Prepare the mix according to package directions; spread batter in greased 10 x 6x1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over batter; dot onion-butter mixture over all; sprinkle with celery seed.
Bake at 375° about 20 minutes.
