Savory Corn Bread

Ingredients
  French fried onion 1 1⁄2 Ounce, freshly crushed (1/2 Can Of A 3 Ounce Can)
  Grated parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon
  Yellow cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine onions and Parmesan cheese.
Place mixture in well-greased 9-inch microwave-safe baking ring.
Turn ring to coat sides and bottom; set aside.
In large mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add egg, milk and oil; stir until smooth.
Pour batter into prepared baking ring.
Micro wave at medium (5) 6 to 10 minutes until done.
Invert onto serving plate.
Fill center of ring with cooked fresh vegetables before serving, if desired
