Sesame Wheat Germ Cornbread

Ingredients
  All-purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Unsifted)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cornmeal 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Wheat germ 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sesame seeds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), toasted
  Buttermilk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salad oil/Melted butter / margarine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , lightly beaten
Directions

In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, salt, and soda until thoroughly blended.
Mix in cornmeal, wheat germ, and sesame seeds.
In a separate bowl, mix together buttermilk, salad oil or melted butter, and eggs.
Stir liquid mixture into dry ingredients just until blended.
Pour into a greased 9 by 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake in a 375° oven for about 55 minutes or (until a wooden skewer inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool in pan for 5 minutes; then turn out onto a rack to cool completely.
