Molasses Corn Bread

Ingredients
  Cereal 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Yellow cornmeal 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Molasses 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Stir together bran cereal, flour, sugar, cornmeal, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Add eggs, milk, molasses, and shortening.
Beat with rotary beater just till blended (do not overbeat).
Turn into greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 425° for 25 to 30 minutes.
