Savory Corn Bread Stuffing
|Fresh mushrooms||1 Pound, sliced|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped|
|Margarine/Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chicken flavor instant bouillon/4 chicken-flavor bouillon cubes||4 Teaspoon|
|Boiling water||1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)|
|Bulk sausage||1 Pound, browned and drained|
|Corn bread stuffing mix||16 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Poultry seasoning||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
In large skillet, cook mushrooms, celery and onion in margarine until tender.
In large bowl, dissolve bouillon in water.
Add sausage, mushroom mixture and remaining ingredients; mix well.
Loosely stuff turkey just before roasting.
Place remaining stuffing in greased baking dish.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until hot.
