Baked Hominy

Ingredients
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cooking hominy grits 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 350F degrees.

MAKING
2.In a pot, pour the milk and heat it, now add butter and hominy grits, keep stirring constantly
3.Keep boiling and stirring continually for 3 minutes or until the mixture becomes thick
4.Remove from the heat once boiled completely, and stir in salt
5.In an electric beater, pour the mixture, and beat it for 5 minutes or until the mixture becomes creamy
6.In a buttered 1/2 casserole, place the mixture
7.Finally bake in the oven for 1 hour

SERVING
8.Serve with a sauce of your choice, or sprinkle some parmesan cheese over it.
