Crispy Corn Sticks

The crispy corn sticks are prepared with cornmeal and buttermilk prepared with lightcorn milk and oil. combined together with baking soda and salt and poured in cornstick pans, they are baked till crisp and crunchy.
Ingredients
  Cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 2 Tablespoon
  Cooking oil 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Sift cornmeal, add salt and soda and mix.
Add cooking oil and stir.
Add buttermilk and syrup.
Stir well and fill well greased corn-stick pans.
Bake at 400° for 1/2 hour.
