Creamed Corn

Creamed corn is a savory and delicious corn side dish that is prepared with sour cream and bacon along with veggies. Cooked in a microwave with with bacon dripings, the vegetables are combined with sour cream and canned corn. With crumbled bacon for flavor, the creamed corn is a comfort food for the keeping.
Ingredients
  Bacon slices 3
  Onion 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Green pepper 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Flour 1 Tablespoon
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whole kernel corn 1 Can (10 oz), drained
Directions

Place bacon in 1 quart casserole.
Cover loosely and microwave until crisp, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
Remove bacon and drain.
Add onion and green pepper to bacon fat in casserole.
Cover and microwave until vegetables are tender, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in flour, sour cream and corn.
Cover and microwave 2 minutes; stir.
Cover and micro wave until hot, 1 to 2 minutes.
Crumble bacon; sprinkle over corn.
