Sauteed Corn And Okra
|Sliced okra||1⁄2 Pound|
|Fresh corn||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp; remove bacon and set aside, reserving 3 tablespoons drippings in skillet.
Crumble bacon, and set aside.
Saute okra in drippings, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.
Add corn to skillet; cook 5 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
Stir in crumbled bacon, and season with salt and pepper.
