Baked Chicken with Corn Bread Stuffing
|Hot water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Stuffing corn bread mix with seasoning||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Chicken breasts||2 1⁄2 Pound, split (3 In Number)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Browning sauce||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Canned chicken gravy||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
Set Power Select at HIGH.
In 3-quart oblong baking dish, heat water, 1/2 cup butter and seasoning packet 3 1/2 to 4 minutes; stir in stuffing crumbs.
Arrange chicken on stuffing; brush with melted butter mixed with browning sauce.
Heat, covered with wax paper, at HIGH 12 to 13 minutes or until chicken is tender.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in small glass bowl, heat gravy 3 to 3 1/2 minutes stirring once; serve over chicken.
