Frank And Corn Crown
|Green pepper||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soft bread crumbs||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned cream style corn||17 Ounce|
|Canned whole kernel corn||12 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Dry breadcrumbs||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Frankfurters||1 Pound, cut in half|
Cook green pepper and onion in 1/4 cup butter till tender but not brown.
Add next 4 ingredients and 1 teaspoon salt; mix lightly.
Spoon into 8x1 1/2-inch round baking dish.
Combine dry bread crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over corn mixture.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
Stand franks, cut end down, in crown around edge of stuffing.
Bake 15 minutes longer.
