Creamed Corn With Bacon
|Onion||1 Small, finely chopped|
|Corn||4 Cup (64 tbs), thawed (fresh or frozen)|
|Heavy whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Bacon strips||4 , cooked and crumbled|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced fresh parsley||2 Tablespoon|
In a large skillet, saute the onion in butter for 3 minutes.
Add corn; saute 1-2 minutes longer or until onion and corn are tender.
Stir in the heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, bacon and pepper.
Cook and stir for 5-7 minutes or until slightly thickened.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley.
