Cheesy Corn Sticks
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cornmeal||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Low fat milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Heat cast-iron corn stick pan in oven while preparing batter.
Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; set aside.
Combine milk, egg and oil.
Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
Carefully brush hot pan with additional oil.
Spoon batter into prepared pan.
Sprinkle batter with cheese.
Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned
