How to Grow Potatoes at Home

It's probably best to use just one large potato with many eyes. Cut the potato in 4 pieces about 6 inches down from the top. The original experiment worked well, but I killed my plant, because I went on vacation and it wasn't watered. Most likely if, it would have lived,I would have had many more potatoes.
