How To Cook Pork Chops In The Crock Pot

It’s the middle of the week, and you’re too tired to even think of any elaborate dish to prepare. Just get some pork chops, some vegetables and dump them in the crock pot. Now, if you’re not an expert at the slow cooking, don’t fret, just read on and you’ll learn how to.

What You Need
Pork chops
Dry onion soup
Crock pot

Step 1: Remove the pork chops from the packaging, wash them, and dry them out using a paper towel.

Step 2: Coat each of the pork chops with oil.

Step 3: Apply the onion soup on all sides of the pork chops.

Step 4: Place the pork chops in the crock pot. Do not add oil to the crock pot.

Step 5: You can also cut a few onions, potatoes, carrots and beans and add them to the pork chops.

Step 6: Add salt to the mixture.

Step 7: Close the lid of the crock pot and set the timer to 4 hours on the lowest setting.

Step 8: Check the crock pot after 3 hours to see if the meat is done. You can use a fork to test the softness. The meat will come off easily if it is done. If the meat is not done, leave it in the crock pot for another hour.

Step 9: When the pork chops are cooked completely, remove them from the crock pot and serve on a plate.

Step 10: Gloat while your family compliments your fine cooking skills!
