Coffee cookie is made with coffee powder/crystals and sometimes additional coffee flavored liquor. TIt is a treat for coffee lovers and a sure hit for the Christmas cookie platter. The coffee cookie uses flour, brown and white sugar, butter, eggs, baking soda, salt and sugar. Some variations of the coffee cookie also uses chocolate but the original recipe has only coffee in it and a strong coffee flavor is the hallmark of the coffee cookie.
