Cardamom cookies are shortbread like cookies that are flavored with cardamom. The recipe often used for Christmas cookies though it does not call for a special occasion to make these baked treats. The recipe incorporates flour, butter, baking powder, water, cardamom and sugar. Nuts can be added to the recipe but not in excess.
