Peanut Brittle

The peanut brittle is a cooked candy made with simple peanuts and sugar. The chopped peanuts are covered with sugar and cooled to prepare this deliciously easy homemade candy. If you love peanuts, you will love this!
Ingredients
  Granulated sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Peanuts 1 Pint, chopped
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1.In an iron frying pan, put the sugar and heat slowly, stirring constantly, until the sugar is melted and turns a light brown color (slightly above 300° F.).
2.Spread the chopped peanuts in a buttered tin, sprinkle them with the salt, warm the tin slightly and pour the melted sugar over the peanuts.
SERVING
3.Serve with ice cream
