Ingredients
  Sugar 2 Ounce
  Ground almonds 2 Ounce
  Egg 1 (Almost)
  Raspberry jam 2 Tablespoon (A Little)
Directions

Mix almonds and sugar with sufficient beaten egg to make a soft mixture.
Prepare recipe of short pastry.
Line 14 patty tins.
Put 1/2 teaspoon jam in each, then 1 teaspoon of the almond mixture.
Make thin strips of pastry from leftover cuttings and lay across the tops at right angles.
Bake in hot oven, 425°F to 450°F, about 20 minutes.
