Baked Almond Cookies

These crunchy brown almond cookies are simply irresistible ! Try out these rich nut cookies for a snack and tell me if you like them ! Your suggestions for these Almond Cookies are welcome !
Ingredients
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sesame seed oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Almond extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Whole blanched almonds 20
Directions

Sift the flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
Slowly add the oil and mix well.
Add the almonds, almond extract, sugar, salt and whole egg and stir thoroughly.
This should be a stiff dough, but if it is too stiff to work with, add a drop of water at a time till the dough is pliable.
Form into small balls and press into cookies 1/2 inch thick and about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
Place an almond in the center of each cookie.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until they are light brown in color.
Cool and serve.
