Chocolate Drop Cookies

Ingredients
  German sweet chocolate bar 8 Ounce
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Unsalted butter 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Pecans 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped
  All purpose flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), unbleached
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease baking sheets.
Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler over simmering water.
Set aside to cool.
Beat eggs in large bowl of electric mixer until foamy.
Add sugar 1 teaspoon at a time and beat until thick, about 5 minutes.
Blend in chocolate mixture, pecans, flour, vanilla, baking powder, cinnamon and salt and mix well.
Drop dough by tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
Let cool on baking sheets several minutes to prevent breaking before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
