Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

How can we forget the Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies? It has a common taste of sweetness which is loved by all. The perfect mix of flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sweetened condensed milk, egg and butter, gives Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies a tradition taste.
Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs), sifted
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted
  Sweetened condensed milk 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (1/2 Can Of Eagle Brand)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon extract 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Nuts 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.
In large size bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Make a well in centre of dry ingredients; add remaining ingredients, except sugar and nuts.
Beat until blended and smooth.
Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
Wrap each in aluminum foil or waxed paper.
Refrigerate about 2 hours or until firm.
Remove one portion of dough at a time from refrigerator.
Shape dough, about 2/3 teaspoonful at a time into balls.
Place balls about 2 inches apart on a well greased baking sheet.
Flatten each ball with the bottom of a well floured glass, until about 1/16 inch thick.
Sprinkle with sugar or decorate with nuts.
Bake in moderate (375°F.) oven, about 5 minutes or until cookie edges are lightly browned.
Immediately remove from baking sheet.
