Layered Cookie Dessert

Ingredients
  Chocolate sandwich cookies 19 Ounce (1 Package)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened (1 Stick)
  Cream cheese 8 Ounce, softened
  Instant vanilla pudding mix 8 Ounce (2 Package)
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whipped topping 8 Ounce
Directions

Crumble all but 12 of the cookies.
Mix together the crumbled cookies and butter.
Pat the cookie mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Combine the cream cheese, dry pudding mix and milk in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Spread evenly over the cookie layer.
Spread whipped topping over the pudding layer.
Crumble the remaining cookies and sprinkle over the whipped topping layer.
Chill, covered, for at least 6 hours.
