|Lime gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whipped cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cottage cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), drained|
|Broken pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped maraschino cherries||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mayonnaise||2 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Whipped cream||2 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Needed For Garnish)|
Drain pineapple, reserving juice; add enough water to juice to make 1 cup.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add juice water mixture.
Chill until partially set.
Fold in whipped cream.
Fold in cottage cheese which has been put through a fine sieve, pineapple, nuts and cherries; blend well.
Pour into pointed waxed paper cups to chill.
Unmold on a bed of let tuce; garnish with mayonnaise and fluffed whipped cream.
Let a small amount run down the sides of each tree.
Top with a cherry wedge.
