Applesauce-Raisin Cookies is an irresistible snack recipe. The deadly combination of applesauce and raisins is something you would never want to miss out on!
Ingredients
  Butter/Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sifted flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Quick cooking oats 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Applesauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream butter & sugar; stir in egg.
Sift together dry ingredients (except oats); add to creamed mixture alternately with applesauce and oats.
Beat well.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Drop by tsp. into greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees about 15 minutes.
Keeps well not too sweet and kids love them.
