|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Crunchy peanut butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Quick cooking oats||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
Boil sugar, milk, margarine and cocoa for 1 1/2 minutes.
Start timing after mixture reaches a full, rolling boil.
Remove from heat; add peanut butter, oats, vanilla.
Beat until blended, then drop on waxed paper by teaspoonfuls.
Coconut or chopped dates may be added if desired.
These may be placed in the refrigerator to hasten hardening.
