Raisin Butter Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter/Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
  Confectioner's sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Raisin bran/1 cup post toasties / post 40% bran flakes / grape-nuts flakes / 0.25 cup raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Post Brand)
Directions

Cream butter, add salt and confectioners' sugar gradually, and cream until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla; then add the flour and mix well.
Stir in cereal.
Shape cooky dough into small balls (about 1-inch diameter) and place on ungreased baking sheet.
Flatten with fork.
Bake in moderate oven (375°F.) 12 to 15 minutes, or until done.
While warm, sprinkle with additional confectioners' sugar.
