No-Bake Squares

Ingredients
  Light corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Dash
  Confectioner's sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar crisp 6 Ounce (Post Brand)
  Chopped peanuts/4.5 cups post sugar krinkles 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Combine corn syrup, salt, and confectioners' sugar in a large bowl.
Add cereal and nuts and with a large fork stir until cereal is well coated.
Spread in llx7-inch pan.
Chill for 2 or 3 hours, or until firm.
Then cut the chilled candy into 2-inch squares.
To store, keep in refrigerator.
No-Bake Coconut Squares.
Use the recipe for No-Bake Squares, but reduce the amount of peanuts to 1/2 cup and add 1 cup Baker's Coconut, cut.
