Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  All purpose flour 2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs)
  Cream of tartar 2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (+ 2 tablespoon)
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oven to 400°.
Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and the eggs.
Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon; roll balls in mixture.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
Immediately remove from baking sheet.
