Vanilla/1 cup grape nuts flakes / 1.5 cups post toasties and reduce chocolate chips to 0.5 cup.
Combine egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt in mixing bowl.
Beat until foamy throughout.
Add sugar, about 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition until sugar is blended.
Then continue beating until mixture will stand in very stiff peaks.
Fold in chocolate chips,cereal, and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased heavy paper on baking sheet.
Bake in slow oven (300Â°F.) for 25 minutes, or until done.
Remove from paper while slightly warm.
