Roasted Peanut Brittle

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Unsalted dry roasted peanuts 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter 1 Teaspoon (or margarine)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Generously grease large baking sheet; set aside.
Combine sugar and corn syrup in 2-quart glass measure.
Cook on HI, 4 minutes.
Stir in peanuts with wooden spoon and cook on HI, 4 minutes.
Stir in butter and vanilla and cook on HI, 2 minutes.
Add baking soda; stir until mixture is light and foamy.
Pour onto prepared baking sheet.
Spread quickly to edges, using back of wooden spoon.
As candy cools, stretch to a thin sheet, using palms of hands.
Cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Store in airtight container in cool place
