|Coconut||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), cut up (Baker's)|
|Chopped salted peanuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine cereal, coconut, and peanuts in large buttered bowl.
Combine corn syrup, sugar, and cream in saucepan.
Place over low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until a small amount of mixture forms a soft ball in cold water (or to a temperature of 236Â°F.).
Remove from heat, add vanilla; blend.
Pour over cereal mixture in bowl and mix well.
Press mixture into 9x9-inch greased pan.
Cut in squares.
Cool until firm.
