|Granulated sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour/Whole wheat||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Quick cooking oats||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Wheat flake cereal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Heat oven to 375Â°.
Mix shortening, granulated sugar, brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until light golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheet; cool.
