Frosted Chocolate Drop Cookies
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Semisweet chocolate square||2|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Sifted cake flour||1 2⁄3 Cup (26.67 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped pecans/Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chocolate coffee frosting||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg, chocolate, and vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well.
Stir in pecans.
Drop dough by teaspoonfuls, about 1 1/2 inches apart, onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350Â° for 10 to 12 minutes or until done.
Cool partially on wire racks.
Frost with Chocolate-Coffee Frosting while cookies are still warm.
