|Shredded coconut||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Beat egg whites and salt to soft peaks; gradually beat in sugar until very stiff.
Stir in coconut and vanilla.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased and floured cookie sheets.
Bake at 325Ã‚Â°F. 15Ã¢â‚¬â€20 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen macaroons.
