Condensed Milk Chocolate Drops

Ingredients
  Powdered sugar 32 Ounce
  Sweetened condensed milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped pecans 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Flaked coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Semisweet chocolate morsels 12 Ounce
  Shortening 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine sugar, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
Stir in pecans and coconut.
Roll mixture into 1-inch balls, and chill at least 1 hour.
Combine chocolate and shortening in top of a double boiler; bring water to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts.
Place several candy balls in chocolate mixture; roll with spoon to coat evenly.
Remove from mixture with a wooden pick or spoon, allowing excess chocolate to drain off.
Place on waxed paper to cool.
Continue process until all candy balls are coated.
Cover and store in refrigerator.
