|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dark molasses||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Salted peanuts||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Combine sugar, syrup and 1/2 cup water in 3-quart saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Cook to hard-crack stage or to 290 degrees on candy thermometer.
Stir in molasses and butter; cook for 30 seconds.
Remove from heat; stir in pea- nuts and soda quickly.
Mix thoroughly; pour onto large greased cookie sheet immediately.
Cool; break into pieces.
