|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Quick-cooking oats||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
"Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Melt butter in sauce- pan.
Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls about 3 inches apart onto greased and floured cookie sheets.
Spread thin with spatula.
Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until edges are brown.
Remove from oven; let stand for 1 minute.
Remove cookies from cookie sheet carefully with wide spat- ula.
Cookies will be thin and lacy.
