|Almonds||200 Gram, blanched, peeled, finely chopped and pounded in a mortar|
|Castor sugar||300 Gram|
|Granulated sugar||50 Gram|
|Egg whites||5 , lightly whisked till frothy|
|Sifted flour/Arrowroot / corn flour / rice flour||1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla essence||6 Drop|
|Lime juice||3 Drop|
|Almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), blanched, peeled and split (For Garnish)|
1.Preheat the oven and make the baking tray ready.
2.Take a bowl, put almonds, castor sugar, granulated sugar and egg whites in it and whisk the mixture until thick.
3.Once the peak starts forming, add flour, vanilla essence, salt, lime juice; whisk well and leave for 5 minutes.
4.Take an icing bag having a nozzle, fill it with the mixture and pipe circles of 2 inch diameter in the shape of cones on the baking trays.
5.Alternatively, use a spoon to make the cones.
6.Put a split almond on the center of each and bake for 20-30minutes until light golden in color.
