German's Chocolate Drop Cookies
|Sweet cooking chocolate||4 Ounce|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Shortening||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Eggs||2 , unbeaten|
|Black walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Chocolate glaze||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1)Over hot water in a pan, melt chocolate and cool.
2)In another sift flour once, measure, add soda and salt, and sift again.
3)In a bowl, beat shortening, add sugar gradually, and cream together until light and fluffy.
4)Add eggs and beat well.
5)Add melted chocolate and blend well.
6)Then, add flour and mix well.
7)Add vanilla and nuts.
8)Take greased baking sheet and drop spoonsful of batter on it.
9)Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
10)Spread warm cookies with Chocolate Glaze.
11)Serve the German’s chocolate drop cookies as desired.
