Ingredients
  Light brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Oleo 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chocolate drops/White raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

MAKING
2. In a large bowl, place the sugar and the butter and mix well
3. Add the egg and the vanilla to the bowl and mix well again
4. In a separate bowl, sift the flour, salt, and soda together till well mixed
5. Add the creamed mixture to this a little at a time and beat well
6. Add the chocolate and the raisins
7. Drop tablespoons of the mixture on to the greased cookie sheet 3-inches apart and bake for 12-15 minutes till done

SERVING
8. Serve warm or cold
