Pinwheel Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg yolk 1
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
Directions

MAKING
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar till fluffy, beat egg yolk and vanilla essence into it as well
2. In a dry bowl, sift flour, salt and baking powder together and blend this mixture into the creamed mixture alternately with milk and blend well
3. Divide this dough into half, add chocolate into one and roll each half into a thickness of an eighth of an inch
4. Place the white part on the chocolate half, roll it up and wrap it up in wax paper, placing it is in refrigerator to chill for several hours
5. Cut it into thin slices, place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for ten minutes

SERVING
6. Serve as required
