Butter Crisps

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Mace 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Butter/Regular margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.
Sift together flour and mace.
In small bowl of electric mixer, at medium speed, cream butter with vanilla until light and fluffy.
Gradually beat in sugar, then flour mixture; beat just until smooth.
Onto ungreased cookie sheet, press dough through cookie press or pastry bag, using star tip.
Place cookies 1 inch apart.
Bake 15 minutes, or till golden-brown.
Cool sev- eral minutes; remove to wire racks to cool com- pletely.
Makes about 3 dozen.
