Walnut Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 4 Ounce
  Soft light brown sugar 4 Ounce
  Plain flour 6 Ounce
  Soda bicarbonate 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Cream of tartar 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Shelled walnuts 7 , halved
  Chocolate 1 1⁄2 Ounce, melted
Directions

MAKING
1. In a bowl, cream the fat and sugar
2. In another, sift the flour, soda bicarb and cream of tartar and add it to the cream mixture and stir in to blend
3. Make walnut-sized balls out of the mixture
4. Leaving enough space between two, place them all on a baking sheet, press down half a walnut through every other cookie and bake for twenty minutes at 350°F; remove when done and cool on a wire rack

SERVING
5. Add a layer of melted chocoalet between two cookies and place the walnut-topped one above
