Ingredients
  Egg white 1
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned flaked coconut 3 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Candied cherries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat moderate oven (350°F.)

MAKING
2) Beat egg whites till fluffy.
3) Add salt and vanilla and beat till well blended and mixture forms a peak.
4) Gradually beat 2 tablespoons sugar at a time till the mixture gets stiff.
5) Add coconut.
6) On greased cookie sheets drop one teaspoon at a time.
7) Press cheery at the center of each cookie.
8) Bake in oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

SERVING
9) Serve warm with cream.
